Happy New Year!!!
Here are some looks from the past week - mostly Christmas celebrations that I never did a post about.
I got a new camera and I'm still not thrilled with it. It just doesn't take good photos for WIWW posts. But I can't expect much for 100 bucks. So some of these pics are good, some are bad.
Outfit #1
All old old old pieces that I've owned since I started my job seven years ago. The skirt and top are Ann Taylor and the cardigan is Jcrew. The belt came from an old Ann Taylor green dress. Boots are from Clarks.
Earrings are from Rhonda Jewelry and the necklace is from a local shop bought years ago.
Outfit #2:
This was worn to an informal Christmas gathering. Sometimes I like to get dressed up and sometimes I'm just unmotivated. Tried to look a little festive with plaid. Top is Talbots last year, cardigan is Jcrew, jeans are from Gap outlet and the boots are Bandolino.
Sapphire earrings paired with a Judith Ripka for QVC necklace.
Outfit #3 was for an ugly sweater party. I bought the puppy top at Macy's. The plaid button down was my mom's and the zip up sweater was Dress Barn, thrifted. The hat is really mine and I wear it a lot. It's super warm. These are probably the same Gap jeans from the last pic with Naturalizer flats.
Outfit #4: Christmas Eve
I loved the color of this top (from Express, thrifted), but had a tough time styling it. Too short for leggings and too long to be worn with a skirt. I went with skinny Gap jeans.
The jewelry is Swarovski.
Outfit #5-Christmas Day
And I totally forgot to take a picture as we sprinted out of the apartment.
The dress is from Target a few years ago and the cardigan is old Jcrew.
Outfit #6
Shopping day! Quick trip to Anthro.
Top is Gap, cardigan is Jcrew and cords are Talbots. The shoes are comfy Lands' End.
My father in law brought this scarf back from India when on a business trip and the earrings are from Anthro. They move around all the time and broke while I was in Anthro...They look cute, but the quality was underwhelming.

Love you in the old green skirt. Just think it is 7 years old and still in style. Great piece to keep forever.
Love the first two outfits...that green is really beautiful on you!
Nice scarf. And really your ugly sweater was not ugly, it was kinda cute!
Loved Christmas Eve! Beautiful top - I think it's perfect with skinny jeans.
Amazing how some clothes can be 7 years old but still look great and in style. Teaches me to buy quality! Green looks great on you and I too love QVC jewelery.
Love those boots and your scarf!
